I am a long-time clean energy advocate and have been working in energy storage for nearly 20 years, but like so many industries, clean energy is not as diverse as it needs to be. The Women in Clean Energy (WICE) initiative is a project from NCSEA that offers women the opportunity to excel in North Carolina’s clean energy industry by fostering support, camaraderie, and knowledge sharing. In less than two years, WICE has grown its network to over 400 women, and created a mentorship program with participants across the country. The goal is to increase the gender diversity within the clean energy sector and to ensure equal opportunity for all who want a cleaner environment and a thriving economy.
Please Join me in supporting this program and the women of the North Carolina clean economy. Even a $25 donation is helpful, and all donations go directly to support the creation of a leadership development program for North Carolina women in clean energy. Thank you!
