Summary

The North Carolina Military Business Center (NCMBC), North Carolina Sustainable Energy Association (NCSEA), and North Carolina Clean Energy Technology Center (NCCETC) are pleased to host the 2015 Southeast Region Military Energy Roundtable (NCMER) on October 28, 2015 in Wilmington, North Carolina at the Wilmington Convention Center. The NCMER will be held in conjunction with the 2015 North Carolina Federal Construction, Infrastructure & Environmental (FEDCON) Summit on October 28-29, 2015.

Description

The North Carolina Military Business Center (NCMBC), North Carolina Sustainable Energy Association (NCSEA), and North Carolina Clean Energy Technology Center (NCCETC) are pleased to host the 2015 Southeast Region Military Energy Roundtable (NCMER) on October 28, 2015 in Wilmington, North Carolina at the Wilmington Convention Center.  The NCMER will be held in conjunction with the 2015 North Carolina Federal Construction, Infrastructure & Environmental (FEDCON) Summit on October 28-29, 2015.

PURPOSE. The NCMER will provide a forum for the exchange of information tailored to address the needs of installations and federal agencies looking to meet mission requirements, federal goals and mandated targets for utilizing energy from renewable sources in North Carolina.  The NCMER will focus on the needs and interests of military installations and federal facilities, the capacity of NC businesses to meet those needs and interests, the changing statutory and regulatory environment regarding distributed generation in NC, and the opportunities this creates for NC businesses to meet the federal and military demand for clean energy.
