Over the past decade, the economics of clean energy have changed significantly, and clean energy resources like solar and wind are now cost-competitive with, or cheaper than, traditional fossil resources. This change, however, requires evolution in the utility planning processes for generation, transmission, and distribution. This webinar will look at best practices for integrated resource planning, transmission planning, and integrated distribution planning, and how those processes are evolving in North Carolina.

Speakers:

  • Amory Lovins, Cofounder and Chairman Emeritus, Rocky Mountain Institute
  • John Wilson, Research Director, Resource Insight
  • Steve Levitas, Senior Vice President for Strategic Initiatives, Pine Gate Renewables
